As a family photographer, Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year because it brings out cozy textures, warm colors, glowing lights, and joy. Choosing outfits is often the biggest stress point — but it doesn’t have to be!
- Deep greens, burgundy, cream, and gold
- Soft neutrals with pops of red
- Navy, gray, and silver for a wintery feel
- Avoid overly bright neon colors, busy patterns, or logos that distract from the faces.
- Knit sweaters
- Velvet dresses
- Wool coats
- Plaid scarves
- Corduroy and denim
Choose 2–3 main colors and build your outfits around them. Layering also allows easy adjustments for varying temperatures.
